About Us

I initially hoped to avoid creating an “About Us” page, as recognition is not the reason behind this website. However, it’s become necessary to share a bit of our story.

Friday night, my girlfriend’s family was in danger a few miles downstream from the Waterville Dam. It was an agonizing wait for any word of their safety. Thankfully, thanks to the brave efforts of the local EMS team, they were rescued and are now safe. With memories still fresh from the Gatlinburg Fires, I asked myself what can we help to help.  After discussing with our team, we knew we had to do something.   City, county, and state governments have their hands full right now, and we are a small web company that is capable of moving fast,.  So CockeCountyStrong.com was built to get information out there as fast as possible.

Our mission is straightforward: to create a central hub for sharing information with those in need and those looking to help.

We will never ask for monetary donations ourselves. However, we’ll provide links to reputable organizations, such as the Cocke County Relief Fund and the Greater Pigeon Forge Chamber of Commerce, that are equipped to manage funds and support efforts. We are running this site at our own expense.

We’re pulling together reliable information from various sources—phone calls, social media, and local voices from lifelong Cocke County residents—and putting it all in one place for easy access.

Now that you know a bit more about us, we are RBA Marketing, based in Sevierville, TN. When we saw the need for a central resource, we took action. We collaborated with local businesses like Collier Foods, Nascar Speedpark, Quick Jet Car Wash, the TN Museum of Aviation, The Ridge RV Resort, the Greater Pigeon Forge Chamber of Commerce, Dominos Sevierville, Dominos Pigeon Forge,  Dominos Gatlinburg, and the incredible team at Ripley’s Amusements to start getting supplies to those in need.

I would also like to thank Missy Norris of New Direction Real Estate for being our designated spoke-person.

To everyone affected, Yes, our thoughts and prayers are with you, and so is our marketing experience.  We’re getting the word out there!  We are seeing results!
